Limited International Warranty Policy
Customer service is our
prime objective, and we are committed to providing top-class after-sales service at all times. A
warranty is a manufacturer’s assurance of quality, defining the period during which the
manufacturer will replace products that exhibit defects due to materials or workmanship.
This warranty covers only the original
purchaser.
The warranty covers the following segments: Passenger Car Radial (PCR), Light Truck Radial (LTR), Light Truck Bias (LTB), Truck/Bus Radial (TBR), and Truck/Bus Bias (TBB).
OTANI offers a five (5) year warranty (tubes and flaps are not included) from the date of purchase, provided the products were supplied directly or indirectly through authorized sales channels. The terms and conditions for filing a tyre claim are as follows:
Claims for damaged tyres, where the damage is proven to be due to defects in material or workmanship, will be accepted.
Claims must be submitted by the original purchaser or by persons authorized by OTANI.
The compensation amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, depending on the percentage of tread used. Additional charges may be payable by the customer.
Damage to tyres caused by impacts.
Tyres used beyond their original tread life (i.e., when the wear indicators are exposed).
Tyres that have been repaired, retreaded, or reclaimed.
Damage due to misalignment, wheel imbalance, defective brakes or shock absorbers, improper inflation, overloading, oil or chemical exposure, fire, use of tyre chains, racing or other competitive events, excessive off-road use, running flat, willful damage, or abuse.
Damage from road hazards (cuts, punctures, snags, and bruises) or impact damage caused by potholes, curbs, stones, or other objects on the road.
Claims for irregular wear, rapid wear, flat spots, ozone, and weather cracking.
Tyres sold as Defective Appearance Tyres (DA tyres).
Any other damage caused by the buyer’s or user’s actions or omissions not in conformity with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications or instructions.
Adjustment Percentage = (Remaining Tread Depth ÷ Original Tread Depth) × 100
Compensation Value = Invoice Price × Adjustment Percentage
Exclusions: This limited warranty does not cover loss of life, property, time, use of the vehicle, or any other incidental or consequential damages due to tyre defects or otherwise.
Governing Law: The federal laws of the Kingdom of Thailand shall govern this warranty.
The “Claim Adjustment Form” must be filled out with all relevant details. Each claim must be supported by three medium-resolution pictures of each tyre included in the claim:
First picture: Serial No. & DOT, named as 1-1
Second picture: Damage portion, named as 1-2
Third picture: Complete tyre showing the tread portion, named as 1-3, and so on.
The “Claim Adjustment Form,” along with the pictures, should be sent via email to sales@otanitire.com or claims@zafco.com. All claims will be settled within one week upon receipt of full details, as per the criteria stated above.
